Greetings Guests and Friends…

With recent CDC and State of California restrictions concerning the COVID-19 Pandemic, be assured that we are following guidelines with regard to specialized cleaning protocols, social distancing, handwashing, and mask-wearing like all of you. For the most part in the past few months, we have welcomed essential guests, especially those we will endlessly thank for their dedication and heroism in protecting Shaver Lake from the devastating Creek Wildfire. And now those dedicated to the rebuilding and restoration of our mountain community and surrounding resort area.

In recent months we have been pretty limited in welcoming guests, but are beginning to open up more accommodations. Our suggestion is that you contact us directly by email, (elliotthouse@psnw.com) texting, or calling (559-250-0567) to get up-to-date availability in our beautiful suites and cabins.

In the near future, we hope to say that our ‘new normal’ will be very welcoming, vibrant, and full of happy guests and staff all around us.

We kick it up here in our kitchen and consistently turn out recipes that will bring you back for more.

We're proud to share a secret that we serve some of the tastiest dishes created by renowned chefs, but many of our best recipes are the tried and true family favorites, passed on from one to another. Like Mom's melt-in-your-mouth Irish scones, Aunt Rita's yummy lemon bars, and we can't leave out Greg's extra moist banana nut bread.

The journals in each of our suites are filled with compliments for the food and the personal service each and every one of our guests receives.

Begin your glorious morning with delicious breakfast starters, including fresh brewed coffee, Keurig coffee choices, specialty teas, juices, granola, cereal, yogurt, fresh seasonal fruit and baked goodies.

EGGS BENEDICT SIERRA combines bakery bread, grilled with butter and olive oil, topped with Canadian bacon, two cage-free poached eggs, and topped with lemony hollandaise prepared with a hint of dijon. All of our savory dishes are accompanied by roasted asparagus spears, perhaps an arugula / spinach / strawberry salad, or other seasonal side dishes prepared fresh daily.

CARAMELIZED APPLE AND FRESH BLUEBERRY PANCAKE
Caramelized Apple and Fresh Blueberry Pancake that rises in the oven like a soufflé and then drizzled with our homemade praline syrup. Our sweet entrees are accompanied by grilled chicken apple sausage, perhaps pork maple sausages or applewood smoked bacon.

ASPARAGUS SPEARS, BLISTERED ORGANIC CHERRY TOMATOES, ROASTED RED PEPPERS, GRATED PARMESAN REGGIANO CHEESE FRITTATA

Asparagus Spears, Blistered Organic Cherry Tomatoes, Roasted Red Peppers, Grated Parmesan Reggiano Cheese Frittata is accompanied by a medley of organic potatoes, roasted Gilroy garlic and locally grown sweet peppers, sautéed in a seasoned cast iron skillet. Or perhaps a salad with sun-ripened California grown strawberries, organic arugula and spinach, topped with poppyseed dressing. Proteins are available to add-on.

Our gourmet breakfast is brought to you personally in your suite. Included are two sparkling La Marca Prosecco flutes, orange juice (to create a mimosa), two chef’s choice entrees, homemade baked treats, seasonal fresh fruit, followed by a delectable sweet finish.

Upon your arrival, after your picturesque journey to our mountain resort area, enjoy complimentary California wines and Trader Joe’s snack basket in your room.
But please don’t miss out on homemade sweets in the Fireside Room, located in the main bungalow. It’s a perfect way to wind down your day. As usual, the cookie jar is always full, and sweet desserts are straight out of the oven every day.

Keurig coffee service is available throughout the day for guests to enjoy. And our tea selections abound as well. For something refreshingly cold, our complimentary sodas and juices are available all day too.
